A bi-monthly space to pause and reconnect with yourself.
The Recovery Room for Clinicians is a live bi-monthly online gathering where healthcare professionals step out of the pace of clinical work and into a space designed for reflection, learning, and recovery.
Each session includes:
- A short teaching on resilience in healthcare
- A practical tool you can use in your day-to-day work
- A guided moment to pause and reset.
You’ll leave with a clearer mind, a steadier nervous system, and a reminder that you’re not navigating the demands of this profession alone.
Free to attend. Live every 2 months.

Sessions will resume in Fall 2026.
Last session's topic was "The Self-Compassion Shift: Supporting Yourself in High-Pressure Moments".
What if the way you spoke to yourself in difficult moments could change how you experience your work?
In this session, we’ll explore how to respond to yourself with more understanding and support. Especially after mistakes, during moments of overwhelm, or when self-doubt arises.
You’ll leave with practical tools and a guided experience to help you feel more grounded, more supported, and more resourced in your day-to-day work.
Hello!
I'm Julie Doan, pharmacist and certified coach.
Caring for others is meaningful work, but it can also be demanding in ways few people outside healthcare truly understand.
As a pharmacist, I’ve experienced firsthand the responsibility, emotional weight, and constant pressure that come with caring for patients.
These realities are deeply meaningful, but they can also be difficult to explain to people who haven’t worked in healthcare themselves.
That’s why I created The Recovery Room for Clinicians: a dedicated space where healthcare professionals can gather with others who understand the realities of the work.
Through reflection, practical resilience tools, and shared experience, this bi-monthly session offers a place to pause, reset, and replenish so you can continue caring for others without losing yourself in the process.
