Why I created the Nourished Self membership

I created the Nourished Self membership because back when I was struggling with my health and trying to figure out how to care for my body properly, this is the kind of guidance I wished I received.


After several trials and errors (and unpleasant juice cleanses), I finally found a sustainable way to nourish myself that brought my cholesterol levels back to normal, cleared my acne and eczema and got rid of the constant heartburn and fatigue I was facing.


While you may not be facing similar health challenges as I did, I know you're looking for a way to take care of yourself that doesn't involve extreme measures, or leave you feeling like crap about yourself.


It's possible and I'll show you how.

Based on the process I use with my 1:1 clients, this online membership program offers:

1) Step-by-step process (so you don't have to do any guess-work) to gradually improve your diet and other lifestyle habits

2) Simple explanations on how the foods you eat affect your body and your hormones, so that you can understand why certain foods contribute to fatigue, cravings, weight gain and hormone imbalances.

3) Coaching on common obstacles that might prevent you from reaching your personal goals (ex. cravings, eating out, being on the go, busy schedule, etc.) so you don't stay stuck or give up. Life happens, and you'll be ready!

4) Tools to help you improve your relationship with food and your body, which is crucial to creating sustainable habits (but often missing for nutrition and exercise plans).

5) Mindset tools to ensure you’re in the right headspace to succeed and stay committed to yourself and your long-term vision (Insider tip: mindset is often the reason people have failed past attempts at sticking to new health habits)

What you'll learn inside the membership

The Nourished Self Membership was created with the intention that you learn and implement the program over a period of 12 months.


After 3 months: Nutrition, Relationship with Food and your Body

You will have learned the knowledge, skills and mindset shifts to optimize your nutrition and improve your relationship with your food and body. You will have more energy, experience less cravings, feel less bloated and begin to feel more at peace with your eating choices and body.


After 6 months: Movement, Sleep, Stress, Emotional Eating

You will have created a regular movement routine, improved your sleep and have some tools to better manage your stress. You will also have continued to optimize your nutrition and address any emotional eating patterns.


After 9 months: Digestive Health, Menstrual Health

In addition to the health habits above that you continue to practice, you will have learned how to optimize your digestive health, which plays a big role in your well-being and hormonal balance. You will also have a better understanding of your menstrual cycle and experience more easeful periods. 


After 12 months:

The last 3 months of the membership is all about bringing everything you've learned together. You're taking the time to solidify your practices and anchor into the person you've become throughout this journey, which of course is the most Nourished version of yourself ;)

What's included in the membership? 

I've built my program with the intention of 1) allowing you to go at your own pace and 2) helping you feel fully supported along the way so you never feel alone.

Pre-recorded video lessons that help you build your knowledge, skills and mindset shifts required to achieve your health goals. During the first 3 months, you will have access to the videos on nutrition. Afterwards, the videos on the other topics (movement, sleep, stress, etc.) will be released gradually on a scheduled basis. You will have access to these videos if you remain in the membership.


- Recipes, sample menus and supporting documents to make implementation easier for you.


- 3 live group calls per month with me and my support coach to help you set an action plan for the month, ask your questions, receive support and connect with your peers inside the group.

How does a membership work?

The Nourished Self Membership works as a subscription model, similar to Netflix (one day, this membership might become the Netflix of wellness ;)).

As long as you're a member, you will have access to the learning platforms, group calls and online community.

Subscribe for 3-months and then renew monthly based on your needs.

Why a 3-month commitment? Here's what I know: change is possible, AND it also takes time. As I want to set you up for success from the start, I ask all members to commit to a minimum of 3 months to ensure you have the time to practice and implement the strategies I recommend to improve your habits and wellbeing.

On top of dealing with PCOS most of my life, I was recently diagnosed with Type II Diabetes. I tried every diet and I was never able to continue with it. Once I failed, I would just give up. Then, I found Julie and a new health journey began.

Meet your coach, Julie

Back in 2011, I was struggling with my health (high cholesterol level, acne, eczema, reflux, constant fatigue, you name it) and developed borderline disordered eating habits from the stress of wanting to "do things right".

After a unpleasant "liver detox" experiment that left me on the toilet bowl for a few days, I recognized that my yo-yo diets and restrictive 30-day challenges weren't long-term solutions to my problems.

When I eventually found a flexible way of eating that felt sustainable, free of self-judgement (no guilt over macaroons!) and that helped me manage my health struggles, I was convinced I needed to help the people around me who were in a similar situation.

Fast forward a few years and I became a health and life coach. Combining this with my background as a pharmacist, I am dedicated to helping people regain their healthy sustainably and naturally.
