I offer personalized programs designed to help you improve your health in a way that's sustainable and enjoyable. Single sessions are now available, and I'm accepting new clients for my 3-month program in October 2023.
Who do I help
I help women who desire a structured but flexible way of regaining their health naturally so that they can mentally and physically feel their best, reduce their risk of illness and the need for medication*, and have the energy to enjoy their life with their loved ones.
I support those with one of the following goals or health condition:
- Painful periods or irregular menstrual cycle
- Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
-Desire to get off hormonal birth control
- High blood pressure or high cholesterol
- Prediabetes and Type 2 Diabetes
- A family history of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, prediabetes or Type 2 Diabetes
-Lifestyle improvement to prevent illness
-Desire to develop a better relationship with food and their body

Option 1 : Single sessions
If you consider yourself someone who's self-motivated and mainly wants a coach to review your nutrition and lifestyle habits to give you a plan that you can execute on your own, my 90-minute initial session is for you.
What can be reviewed inside a 90-minute session:
- Nutrition recommendations to improve your overall health, energy, and how you feel
- Nutrition and lifestyle recommendations to better control your prediabetes, Type 2 diabetes or high cholesterol levels
- First steps towards decreasing PMS, period cramps and other discomforts related to your menstrual cycle (note: you need to typically apply these lifestyle changes for 2-3 months before seeing improvements).
- First steps towards preparing your body to get off hormonal birth control
- Improve mild digestive discomforts (ex. mild bloating. For severe gastro-intestinal conditions, I suggest you consult a provider specialized in your condition)
- Guidance on how to efficiently meal prep and plan your weekly meals on a busy schedule
What's included:
- A written action plan sent to you 2 business days after our call
- Product recommendations if pertinent
- E-mail communication if you have questions about the written action plan or what was discussed during the call. This will be available for up to one week after our call. Please allow a 48-h response time (Monday to Friday). If you have questions about a topic that wasn't discussed during our call together, I may suggest we save it for a follow-up session.
- Revision on your food journal for up to one week after our call
- Recipes
- An insurance receipt (under naturopathy) will be sent to you via e-mail after our call.
Follow-up calls (60 minutes)
- If you'd like to book a follow-up call after your initial 90-minute call with me, you can book a 60-minute follow-up call (190$) at your convenience. The single 60-minute calls are only available to clients who have worked with me before.
Investment:
- 275$ CAD (paid at the time of booking)
Insurance coverage:
If your private insurance company covers services from a naturopath, I will provide you with an insurance receipt after each session. I am a member of the Association des Naturopathes Professionnels du Québec.
If not, you can claim it (or the remainder that isn't covered by your insurances) as a medical expense on your tax return. Check with your accountant for more details.
Option 2 : 3-month program
How my program is different from my single sessions:
- This is for women who desire more guidance and accountability, as there is support between sessions included. Therefore if you have questions, want feedback on your food journal, want to share wins or ask for help when you're having an off day, I'll be here to support you. I also check-in with you in between sessions to see if any adjustment are required until our next call.
- As we work together during a longer time frame, I'll be able to share more tools with you and ensure you're able to sustain the new habits.
- We'll also be able to address the "mindset" aspect of lifestyle changes, as well as your relationship with food and your body.
What can be covered inside the 3-month program:
- Improve your overall health, energy, and how you feel
- Learn the foundational skills to improving your diet, fueling your body and preventing chronic illness
- Efficiently meal prep and plan your weekly meals on a busy schedule
- Improve your energy levels
- Better manage cravings, but still enjoy the occasional sweets without guilt
- Improve mild-moderate digestive discomforts (ex. bloating, constipation. For severe gastro-intestinal conditions, I suggest you consult a provider specialized in your condition)
- Decrease PMS, period cramps and other discomforts related to your menstrual cycle (ex. heavy bleeds, migraines during your periods, etc.)
- Prepare your body to get off hormonal birth control
- Get into the habit of moving more often
- Cultivate a supportive relationship with food and your body
If you have:
- PCOS: we will create a plan to address the main contributors to PCOS to help relieve symptoms, support hormone balance and the return of a regular menstrual cycle. My recommendations will be a mix of lifestyle habit changes, nutritional guidance, and suggestions of herbs and supplements that can support you.
Please note that managing PCOS through lifestyle habits is a long-term journey and it typically takes 6-12 months to regularize your menstrual cycle and manage PCOS-related symptoms (acne, hair loss, weight gain, etc.). That being said, you can begin with the 3-month program to establish a foundation and book single follow-up sessions afterwards. - Metabolic Syndrome (prediabetes, Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol): we will create a plan to address the main contributors to the metabolic syndrome (i.e. insulin resistance and inflammation) to support a healthy blood pressure, as well as optimal blood sugar and cholesterol levels. My recommendations will be a mix of lifestyle habit changes, nutritional guidance, and suggestions of herbs and supplements that can support you.
It may take longer than the 3 months of this program to normalize your blood test results and blood pressure values. That being said, you can begin with the program to establish a foundation and book single follow-up sessions afterwards.
What's included:
- 2 x 60-minutes calls via Zoom during the first month to set the foundations
- 4 x 30 minutes calls via Zoom over the next 2 months to follow up (one call every 2 weeks)
- Text and voice message support between sessions (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm EST with a 48h-response time)
- In-between session accountability and follow-up form
- Weekly evaluation of food journal to let you know if you're on the right track
- Recipes
Investment:
- 1000$ CAD by payment plan: 400$ CAD deposit and 2 monthly payment of 300$ CAD

Hi there! If we haven't met, I'm Julie Doan, a pharmacist and health Coach.
